VisitOz operates with Agents around the world according to a simple Memorandum of Understanding, as written below. (MOU)
Agents are requested to read and agree to the terms of this MOU by completing the short online declaration form at the bottom of this page. This is deemed to be confirmation of our Agency agreement.

Agencies Memorandum of Understanding 2020-21
1. Visitoz, as the service provider agrees to provide the following services:

By completing the online declaration statement below I declare that, on behalf of my organisation and all our staff, I understand and agree to the statements, terms and conditions mentioned above.
The Australian Rural work and other programmes as described in current product information, including
- Meeting and Greeting services
- Welcome
- Induction
- Transport
- Accommodation, board and lodging
- Farm skills training
- Promotion of participants to employers,
- Liaison with employers for organisation of employment,
- In country travel arrangement
- In-country support and general participant advisory services
2. The sending agent agrees to:
- In general:
- Promote and recruit participants for rural work and other programmes run by Visitoz.
- Identify and book participants suitable for the programmes Visitoz offers.
- provision of pre and post-sale information
- participant suitability screening and selection
- verification of skills, verification of experience
- provision of advice and support through the booking of visas, travel, insurance and the programme as appropriate
3. Ensure participants meet the following pre-requisite conditions:
- Meet all the relevant Visa requirements of the Australian Department of Immigration
- Have spoken English skills must be to a good conversational level – IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
- Are willing and able to communicate effectively in person, by phone and by email in English.
- Are physically and mentally fit, healthy, not dependent on long term medication or have a history of depressive illness.
- Are licensed and able to drive a vehicle, ideally with both manual and automatic gearbox
- Will have appropriate insurances in place before arrival in Australia
4. Selection – to assess and verify participant’s suitability for the programme, based on evidence of
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the programme
- Ability to communicate in English, social skills and personal confidence
- Work ethic and willingness / ability to learn new skills
- Ability to cope with challenging new circumstances
- Practical skills and workplace experience
5. Awareness - as part of the application process ensure potential participants:
- Are aware that they are joining the ‘Farm and rural work programme’ of Visitoz, in country partner and provider of rural and outback work programmes SINCE 1991.
- The participant is aware that the Visitoz Programme is a pathway to ‘real work for real pay’.
- The participant will be required, first and foremost, to complete a job of work and is expected to commit to at least 3 months in their first role.
- Are aware of the contents of ‘being prepared’ and what to expect’ pages on the Visitozapplications.org website.
- Will sign and agree to the ‘Safety and general terms and conditions’ document as part of the application process
- Are aware that qualification for a 2nd or subsequent job with Visitoz will normally require at least 2-3 months of successful employment in the first job.
- Are aware of relevant cancellation and date change charges
6, Administration
- Relay completed application forms and other information as required to Visitoz staff for confirmation of acceptance.
- Confirm Visitoz’s acceptance to the programme to the participant.
- Make the participant aware that Visitoz staff will make contact directly with the participant soon after the booking is made in order to check and confirm the ‘worker profile’ and various other arrival details.
- Ensure that Visitoz receives all arrival information at least 3 weeks in advance of arrival
- Check the participant’s intention to participate as booked planned as often as required in the 2 months before joining the programme.
- Be aware of and make the participant aware of the terms and conditions relating to payment, cancellation and date changes as published on the Visitozagents.org website.
- Ensure the participant is aware that they will need access to funds in cash or on a credit / payment card to the value of $500-$900 Australian dollars when joining the programme or training course.
7. Payment
- Ensure that the payment of fees to is made on time and in accordance with the payment terms and conditions as published on the Visitozagents.org website, or as may have been agreed or amended by special communication with Visitoz.
